About Black in Data Week…
If you’ve been following us for a minute, you will notice we haven’t had a Black in Data Week announcement yet for the new year. Usually we commune for a week of Black in data celebrations during Black History Month, but this year we’re going for Black Music History Month 🎶. #BlackInDataWeek2024 will be back in June, 2024. Look out for our date and request for speakers announcements and themes for those interested in attending and participating as presenters.

In lieu of community roles and wins shares, we encourage you to look at these two job boards that are run by two great women and champions for underrepresented communities and Black women in technology. A unique feature of both these job boards is that they are vetted before any role can be posted on them.

Diversify Tech - Underrepresented in Tech Community by Veni Kunche
For those of you hiring with the new budgets, you can reach out to newsletter@blacktidesdata.com with some contact information to share roles for the community. You’re also encouraged to share wins with us so we can amplify the wins of Black professionals in data!
Stay in touch with us on the platform formerly known as Twitter and LinkedIn for updates and resource shares throughout the month and tell us what else you’d like to learn with and from the community.
Until next month. Take care, data fam! ❤️💚🖤
